The server said that they would remake my food but I declined. When they brought my food, there was hair in my fries. They also said it was difficult to peel the shrimp/crab using the gloves provided and hard to get the garlic smell off of their hands. They said the corn and potatoes were more flavorful than the crab and shrimp and that there was too much garlic butter. Our friends ordered the shrimp, crab, potatoes and corn with the medium spice of garlic butter.

My husband ordered the fried shrimp with fries. based on my husband and our friends experiences. I am allergic to shellfish so this review will be. I heard good things about this place on NextDoor so we decided to take our friends. We had friends in town from Austin and they were craving seafood. This means that they just didn't care because what could we do once the food was delivered. I think that if we were sitting in the restaurant they would never have served us food so badly prepared. This was not a delivery issue, it was a cooking issue. To be fair we did get the "Bangin Boudin Balls" and they were delicious - the one highlight of the meal. None of us could eat any of it - the whole thing went into the trash. Once I took a bite I could guess that it was calamari but it was dry and tough, like leather. It was so over fried that the coating was dark brown. When I opened the box I couldn't even tell what it was. The worst of everything though was the fried "Killer Calamari". The hush puppies are tiny, tasteless and dry. My sister did that the dirty rice was pretty good. We also ordered the "Blackened Catfish a Ritz, which was average but edible. The fried oysters were also soggy and tasteless, but at least not over cooked The batter on the fish was flavorless, but once I peeled it all off the actual fish was ok. soggy, rubbery and cold while the catfish was somehow both over cooked and still soggy. We ordered 2 Mix & Match platters - one with catfish, oysters and sweet potato fries, the other with double catfish and regular french fries. We just ordered delivery via Doordash and almost the whole order was horrible.
